The Sri Lanka shoreline derives from GSHHG (formerly GSHHS), intermediate-resolution data distributed with Basemap. Authors: Paul Wessel and Walter H. F. Smith. Upstream project.
Portfolio adaptations select the main Sri Lanka and offshore rings, round coordinates, triangulate and project the outline for WebGL, SVG and CSS. The derived geographic coordinates remain under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Editable coordinates and their notice are distributed in the shoreline data companion; these duplicate the existing rendering coordinates without changing them.
LGPL version 3 and GPL version 3. These terms apply to the identified shoreline data, without granting a new license to other portfolio work.
The portfolio owner confirmed permission on 7 November 2026 to redistribute the supplied Porsche and Alpine A110 rendered geometry. This confirmation does not grant visitors a separate reuse license. Organization and university marks identify the owner’s education and experience; their respective owners retain their rights.
